11The party arrives at the base of the tower. Adorned with and freshly healed from the treasures looted from the great dragon flamewing's lair, the party girds itself for the coming battle, one which may decide the fate of the Republic.
Many questions remain unanswered. Why is this new power striking out of Gilantri? Is it the shadow elves themselves? What manner of being could have something that they would desire?
Regardless, the choices are clear, the shadow elf's words ringing in their ears; The words of breaking their spirits and their bodies.
Victory. Victory or enslavement. Enslavement of all they hold dear in the free lands of Darokin.
