16The Journey of Roadwarden continues with Kiera following no one's advice and taking the eastern route instead of the west. Where we last left off, the trails were mostly desolate with signs of human ruins. But today, we come across both someone who eeks out a living in the east as well as a major sign of danger. When the fight music drops, you know it's about to go down.
Roadwarden is an indie game developed by the Poland based Anxiety Studios, and it is a great callback to text based adventures with some excellent modern presentation. The world is alive and dynamically changes based on how you interact with it, and the writing is top notch. And like any good choose your own adventure story, there is more than one way to play and more than one set path to take.
