Monsters and bandits rule the land, with people huddled behind walls and palisades dotting the landscape. Desperate times lead people to take dark paths, and it is with this backdrop that our hero sets out to try and make a new life for herself. But she's going to have to cut through numerous problems to get there.
Roadwarden is an indie game developed by the Poland based Anxiety Studios, and it is a great callback to text based adventures with some excellent modern presentation. The world is alive and dynamically changes based on how you interact with it, and the writing is top notch. And like any good choose your own adventure story, there is more than one way to play and more than one set path to take.
