In Episode 1x6 of Daredevil Born Again Muse draws the attention of the public after being found to use his victims' blood in his street art. A recent mural decrying the city's law enforcement provokes Fisk to establish an Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF) with unlimited jurisdiction to apprehend him, comprised of more notorious police officers such as Powell and former detective Cole North. Angela separately attempts to court Murdock about the killings, believing they were being investigated by Ayala prior to his assassination.
Elsewhere, Fisk attends a private party to discuss the Red Hook urbanization project with the city's elite, where socialite Jack Duquesne cautions him against falling out of favor with the community due to his ambitions. Disillusioned by Murdock's disregard for the situation, Angela attempts to track Muse to his hideout, resulting in her being abducted. Murdock suits up as Daredevil for the first time in a year, infiltrating the lair and incapacitating Muse, rescuing her. Fisk visits the captive Adam and gives him an axe, challenging him to an altercation in which Fisk gains the upper hand, savagely beating him and dragging him back to his cell.
