levels 1-10 - Tutorial

Once 50, proceed to kings room to receive full kings armor and accessories.
they revamped kings gear so you will have above cap stats and toa bonuses, good to get you going before you make a template

once you are 50, you can complete Curse and Otherworldly chapters for champion xp.

Curse chapters now give you bounty points.

Bounty points can now be used to craft end game gear! one of the best additions they have added to live servers.

They have also introduced MTX merchants to buy things like name changes, race respecs, and even bp and rp buff pots.

its easier than ever to get back into the game and out to rvr. this was all done in less then a week, about 1 day /played from lvl 1-50 cl1-15 and rank 1-5.

back story on this.

I started playing DAoC in 2004 when I was introduced to this Game by a few real life friends, Ashnorr ( still playing ) and Huracane ( not playing any longer ).

the only chance I had to play is when I was at my buddies house and he was doing homework or something else, I was in 6th grade at the time.


He let me make a toon on his account, it was a Celt Champion. ( right after SI Released ). I didn't know anything, what I was doing, spent days killing water beatles.

when I finally made my own account, I made my own champion on Tristan Hibernia. It was my first 50 ever, Liifetaker. I was really bad, didn't know anything about templating, anything about rvr really. just enjoyed the game.

that character has unfortunately since been deleted, and though I have another champion already, I wanted to start fresh with the class that introduced me to the game. My plan is to focus on this 1 toon until atleast realm rank 11. I did everything from scratch, leveling, champion levels, bounty crafting for gear. although everything is MUCH more streamlined now, and you can get to lvl 50 in hours instead of weeks like in the old days and rank 5 in a few days instead of weeks or months. I wanted to show people that may not have played in a while or have been turned off by Live due to end gear creep, and "pay to win" that this isn't true and all can be done relatively easy now.
