The sequel to Dark Forces, was a fully 3D game, released between Quake 1 and Quake 2. The big improvement is that it has FMV segments!! Other than that, the levels are much like its predecessor: some are vertical with large gaps and falls, some have huge, mostly empty, spaces and some are full of claustrophobic tunnels.
You also get a lightsaber (3rd person view too) and get to fight other "Dark Jedi" (now called "Sith" we suppose?).
