Dark Forest Area 1's Boss - Odallus: The Dark Call 100% Walkthrough
0First deal with the animal. Its attacks include crouching down to jump (get close to it & duck), shooting 1 or more lone blasts at you (jump over them), shooting a curved chain of fireballs which creates a vertical fire wall (back up), doing the aforementioned attack & shouting causing fire balls to rain down where you are which, upon contact with the ground, results in the fire shooting across the ground in both directions (dodge), & lastly walking toward you. It's weak point is it's head & can be damaged whenever.
Priscus' attacks are jumping around (go underneath him), jumping up & firing at the ground which results in fire spreading across the ground (jump over it), shooting fire straight (duck or jump over it), & shooting a flaming skull that moves up & down (can only be jumped over).
The best time to damage him is to wait for him to raise his hand to attack then jumping behind him & wailing on him with your sword. While you can duck under his hand & slash him from the front you'll be damaged if you're either too close or if he shoots the skull which is why I recommend attacking him from behind. Keep fighting Priscus this way until he is defeated.
