Dark sensor circuit
A tutorial on How to make a Dark Sensor circuit and Darkness detector circuit using LDR and transistor BC-547, along with detailed explanation on how the circuit works. The sensitivity of circuit at which the LED turns On or Off can also be adjusted using different resistors.
This circuit can be used to automatically turn on-off lights or appliances by adding a relay at the output (i.e. at the collector of transistor).
Components Required:
* 1 LDR (Light Dependent Resistor or Photo-resistor)
* 1 NPN Transistor (I used BC547)
* 1 Resistors: 150 k-Ohm
* 1 LED for indication
* Potentiometer (Only if you need adjustable sensitivity): 100K (For Dark Sensor).
* Breadboard
* Power Supply: (3-12)V I use 9V battery
* Few Breadboard Connectors
