Dark Sun Gwyndolin
_________________________________________________________________

Health: 2,000

Souls: 40,000

Strategy:

-Hidden boss found in Anor Londo

-At the very bottom of the moveable staircase. The secret entrance is behind a illusory wall in the darkmoon tomb.

-two ways to get to him; either find the darkmoon seance ring in the catacombs. When you get the ring, equip it in the darkmoon tomb and the statue infront of you will disappear. Travel down the stairs and kneel at the rug to join the darkmoon covenant. If you travel through the fog door then you won't be able to join and you'll have to fight Gywndolin.

-Another way to access him is to 'kill' Gwynevere, causing Anor Londo to go dark. Gwynevere is actually an illusion created by Gwyndolin, as she left Anor Londo a long time ago. With Anor Londo Dark, some new enemies will appear but most will leave, and you'll have to fight the fire keeper at the spiral staircase.

-Regardless of how you get there, if kill Gwynevere or if you kill Gwyndolin, the Anor Londo fire keeper will become hostile and their bonfire will go out.

-You get SIN for killing Gywndolin, which will make you a target of the Darkmoon covenant.

-The boss fight takes place in a seemingly infinite hallway, with Gywndolin having three long-range attacks that he projects at you.

-High magic resistance is recommended, the Crest Shield is a good option.

-High stamina is also important. If you feel you're too slow, just equip very light armor as you won't need much physical resistance.

-Best strategy if you're a melee guy is to get behind cover when he fires the homing swarm, then start chasing him when he fires the big magic shots, which can go through cover and are best avoided. When he raises into the air, that means he's throwing darts at you. These are pretty easily blocked, so do that.

-Get something with decent range or is capable of a running attack to hit him, he will only linger for a few moments before teleporting away.

-It's possible to interrupt his teleport, you'll just need something that causes serious stunning damage.

-The hallway ISN'T actually infinite, it's possible to reach the end of it if you sprint for a few minutes. Once you get to the end, Gwyndolin will simply remain in one spot, so it's easy to corner him, as he has no close range attacks. Still, this isn't really necessary once you learn his vunerabilities.

SPECIAL DROPS:

- Soul of Gwyndolin

- Brass Armor Set and Sunlight Blade miracle in the crypt beyond the boss arena.
