Dark Souls Remastered is an upgraded version of Dark Souls that will be released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 25th, 2018. On October 19th, 2018, it was launched on the Nintendo Switch. The game has been upgraded to include graphics improvements as well as an expanded online option.
The remaster has improved graphics and framerate over the original. The original level design is "unchanged" in the remaster. There are a few minor tweaks, such as the Dried Finger's new location and a new campfire near Blacksmith Vamos, as well as the ability to trade Covenants at your bonfire.
