Hikaro takes a look at Darkest Dungeon, a new game by Red Hook Studios that is available on Steam Early Access starting on 2/3/15. Hikaro is a kickstarter backer of this game and has been excited to play it since it's kickstarter campaign. The best way to describe this game is to take it from the games website, they say it well:
Darkest Dungeon is a challenging gothic RPG about the stresses of dungeon crawling. You will lead a band of heroes on a perilous side-scrolling descent, dealing with a prodigious number of threats to their bodily health, and worse, a relentless assault on their mental fortitude!
