9The Descent series has seen a lot of custom user-made missions in its day. A fair few were created for the first game, which is still one of the best games out there today. A paltry couple were made for the third game, which was mired in its technical achievements which made it very difficult to make expansive user-made missions as easily or efficiently as you could with the first two games. The majority of custom mission and some of the very best ever made are to be found on Descent 2. That is where our list is focusing on and where the five I had to choose to be the top missions I've ever played in my life. My only rule, of course, was that I could not select a mission that I had created for the Descent series but there is one exception to that which I'll explain why in the video.
