Darkseed, Amiga - Part 2 - Ain't Played In Ages
39Darkseed is a creepy adventure game with graphics by HR Giger, the mind behind the aliens from Aliens. It scared the poo out of me when I was a kid. So I thought it would be a good game to start on Halloween.
You play as Mike Dawson, who has recently moved into a house and had an alien injected into his brain for some reason. Despite this promising premise it tends to bumble along a bit and makes some terrible mistakes for an adventure game, relying on you being places at the right time for the game to progress or getting permanently stuck. But it's still quite fun and I might make a full series out of this if I can stand the difficulty.
"Ain't Played In Ages" is a live narrated walkthrough / let's play series of various games that I haven't played for many years. Usually I'm playing them in the video for the first time since I was a kid. That's a long time ago.
