Alright guys and gals welcome to the next video where we will be really takign a trip back in time where RPG were radically different than today! I cannot wait to get a standard webcam so I can stop using this phone one. Anyways so as I did with Dungeon Siege series you will get pros and cons of each of these side by side.
Darkstone (PC)
Pros:
Nice fully rendered 3D graphics
Good audio and cutscenes
Mutliple side quests and extra entire games
Zoomable and rotateable camera
8 different playable character plus 2nd skins
Loads of difficulties
Not as random dungeons as Diablo but semi
Nice UI but not much storage space
Cons:
Not as supportie of a community
Characters can get new skins but need downloaded
One small town
More loading screens
No native controller support nor mods for controllers
Not many in game options
Very limited storage
Stamina meter for food
Diablo
Pros:
Great supportive community
Multiple entire game mods that add features
Easier to support controllers
Fully procedural generate dungeons
Multiple towns
Not as many loading screens in overworld
Way more loot drops plus better storage
Easier potion and other hotkeys
Cons:
Even with mods not great graphically speaking
Still limited rendering capability
Needs more work to get working on modern WIndows
Fluctuating difficulty spikes
No real camera support even with mods
Hard to find upscaled textures
Diablo 2 kinda made this obselete
4-5 character classes
