DARTH BANE POWER ANALYSIS - The Creator of The Rule of Two - Darth Bane Star Wars Audiobook Style
294Dessel, who would later become known as Darth Bane, was one of the most impactful Sith Lords of all time. Darth Bane created the Rule of Two, which reshaped the Sith Order significantly. Bane's prophecy would eventually come true, several thousands of years after he institutes the rule. He is also known for destroying the Brotherhood of Darkness, after which he reinstituted the title of Darth and took on an apprentice, Darth Zannah.
This Power Analysis is a bit different, and a bit longer than it was originally planned, solely because Bane was such an important character and had so many intriguing points in his story. The majority of the content in this video is extracted from the Darth Bane fandom page, as well an ebook or audiobook or two.
While this video does cover much of the life that Darth Bane led, I might consider doing a video on Bane's complete story, in a sort of an audiobook or audio story form, the way I did Kreia's. Also heads up, a short audio story, very much an audiobook style, is coming next week. I'm trying to set it up to be a weekly post for Thursdays, while maintaining the Saturday slot for the power analysis videos.

Relevant connections to Bane include storyline connections to Darth Andeddu, Darth Zannah, Darth Krayt, as well as Darth Sidious and Darth Vader, to a certain extent, for they were the ones who brought Bane's Rule of Two to fruition when the two Sith dominated the galaxy. Fun fact! Bane discovered the holocron of Darth Revan. Upon finding it, he realized it was not quite well constructed and that the matrix eroded somewhat each time it was used. So Darth Bane duplicated the contents of the holocron and then destroyed it. Darth Revan was the one who told Darth Bane, from within his holocron, that to embrace the dark side of the force truly meant making sacrifices. This also meant embracing the erosion of the body that the dark side brought. Darth Nihilus, for instance, was one example of what happened to the corporeal form once it was fully engulfed by the dark side: it would gradually erode away to a point where it can no longer sustain itself, which is why Sith lords like Darth Nihilus found alternative ways of surviving. Nihilus did so by binding his armour and mask with his spirit.
