164Today we take a look at some of Dave Ramsey's advice and see if it's held up. Hint: No, it hasn't at all.
If you're like me you remember Dave Ramsey from personal finance and at the time might have thought what he was teaching was useful. As time has moved on, his advice has slowly but surely fallen behind. He has some things he's said that still hold up, such as Snowballing your Debt, but other things that aren't really possible anymore, such as living without debt. You might also be thinking maybe this is just his old stuff and he doesn't believe it anymore, and while I couldn't find much about what he thinks now, I did find other recent stuff that shows how out of touch he is. He's a millionaire so of course Dave isn't going to understand how important money is to some since he has so much of it, but it's crazy what he says. We also take a look at a response to an article that was written when he bought a new mansion. It's sad to see how he replies and how much he says comes from God, who had absolutely nothing to do with his wealth, it all started with the equivalent of a scam program.
