Our adventure continues with Vayu the Air Genasi Rogue, Ronzi the Halfing Artificer, Brytmora the Hill Dwarf Bloodhunter, and Snaps the Kenku Cleric as they finish their job for Judas, to which she had granted the party full citizenship into Viaest and a old guild hall as a reward for their efforts. The party finally arrived at their newly acquired guild hall, only to find it in a state of ruin—broken floorboards, shattered furniture, and the weight of time pressing heavily upon it. As they explored, they soon realized they weren’t alone. A Displacer Beast named Onyx prowled in the rafters, watching them with a predator’s gaze and warning them to leave. Deeper inside, they discovered Aspen, who had been using the hall as a hideout. Though initially defensive, she admitted she had tricked the Knights and, rather than fight for ownership, proposed a deal—if the party allowed her to stay, she would serve as their informant in the city.
To prove her sincerity, Aspen brought someone else into the room, revealing a mysterious woman with snow-white skin and silvery hair—Astrid, known to her captors as Swan Song. Astrid explained that she had been a prisoner of the Emerald Herald for nearly 500 years, forced to heal the city's people while absorbing their pain in return. As a Siren turned Aeoling, she was immortal yet had no memory of her past life. Aspen had rescued her from this fate, but they had been in hiding ever since, seeking a way forward. Now, with a new set of allies, a new path might finally open to everyone as they explore their first full day into Viaest.
