*NOTE* - This is a side-project, meaning there won't be as much editing done in the video, it's pretty much a continuous shot per mission. It doesn't affect the game too much except for mission prep, sometimes I take overlong there.
Looks like I got the Diplomatic Pistol! This weapon is realllyyy nice because you can fire off shots without being detected! Helps a ton. Always have a silenced weapon on hand, I say!
And lookee, you not only infiltrate the Russ- er "Socialists", but the US- uh... Imperialists, too! Cool! What isn't so cool is getting my butt whupped! I hadn't yet really learned how to manage enemy "depth", yet. It's a 2D game, for the most part, but enemies can be in the background, too. You get them by hiding behind the cover in front and shooting over and back at them. One other super useful tactic (that I may or may not display this video) is rolling from cover to cover. You can get by some sticky enemy situations this way!
Also again, worth mentioning: Dying doesn't make you "lose". But a whole DEFCON level rises. This is bad. So don't die.

CounterSpy is all about the cool Spy 60s(?) motif! Also being a spy. You have to go through each army base to collect secret plans and disable their nuclear missile launch controls. I won't explain game mechanics 'cause the tutorial video will do just that. Suffice it to say that it's a 2D... scenario shooter. That is, you'll want to plan your line of attack in each scenario you find yourself in then execute. Sometimes you end up in a nasty firefight, though. DEFCON levels rise if you play sloppy and/or die, and that can lead to a nuclear launch!
