Rick Smolan is one of the most well known and loved photographers of our time, know for his work in TIME, LIFE and National Geographic. He is the co-creator of the popular photography "Day in the Life" book series earlier in his career. Rick's stories as a photographer inspired the recent highly acclaimed movie Tracks as well as a moving TED Talk.

Rick is currently CEO of Against All Odds Productions, one of the 25 Coolest Companies in America according to Fortune magazine and recently authored the "Human Face of Big Data."
