dod_omaha is a map found in Day of Defeat Alpha 6.8 that didn't make it to the final game.

As you can guess, this is a map based on the Omaha Beach landing during D-Day. The Allies' goal is to destroy two cannons at the back of the map by carrying bombs to their control panels. A single bomb can be held at a time. The Axis' goal is to prevent this from happening.

This map also features the world's strongest barbed wire. It takes a ridiculous amount of M1 Garand shots to destroy it. I get that it was to stall the Allies, but it's pretty silly.
