And here are the Daydream VR News for week 18 of 2017!

Recently we have witnessed one of the most exciting and best heavyweight boxing matches of all time. Joshua vs. Klitschko. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could watch the highlights in VR again?

Indeed it would! And thanks to Sky, we can! Sky has created a virtual-reality highlights film of the April 29 world heavyweight boxing match between Vitali Klitschko and Anthony Joshua that is available for download via the Sky VR app now!

It is a 12-minute film created by Sky’s dedicated in-house VR production unit, Sky VR Studios, and looks at the preparations of both fighters ahead of the match as well as the bout itself. Well, If that isn't a reason to download the free Sky app right now!

And we do have some interesting launches!!! Developer VRLines has published another version of their game "Baskhead".

The game is called Baskhead Training and is available on the Google Play Store for 5.99 €uro. As compared to the original, there is now a 20 levels challenge that might be very interesting for hardcore gamers, since those levels indeed pose quite the challenge. Unfortunately, this version does not come with the Multiplayer, Ultimate and Survival modes that can be found in the original game which is available for half the price.


After the quite disappointing Rabbids VR, Ubisoft has released another new game for Daydream VR! In Hungry Shark VR, which is available for $4.99 from Google Play now, you take on the role of a shark in a large underwater environment with the objective to eat as many fish and occasionally humans as possible. You can also opt for the missions that have you race against time, rescue other sharks or simply munch as much as you can! You will see more Hungry Shark VR coverage on Daydream District soon!

And we had one soft launch last week that I am personally very excited about! Get to know Lola and the Giant!


Lola and the Giant is a puzzle adventure that has you both play from a third and first person VR perspective. You play as Lola, a little girl with mysterious powers and her new found fried, a massive stone giant. Both have their individual abilities and need to work together in order to find the way home! Lola and the giant is yet another Daydream exclusive that we can be very excited about!

Switching between the two protagonists unique perspectives and using their individual abilities to solve puzzles in a visually stunning world, is quite the experience and the Android companion app will even let a friend peek into your VR world and help you with the puzzles.
