In this video tutorial guide I show you one method to find an error in your DayZ XML file when the problem seems to be in the wrong place, in this case at the end of my cfgspawnabletypes.xml file, where there shouldn't be an error.
The method and technique we use is to compare the problem file with an earlier version of the file that does validate, then look for missing opening or closing tags.
This is a very good technique for problems that appear when you're updating your DayZ Community Server files from one patch to the next - in this example I was updating to 1.19, so I had the previous 1.18 file to work with.
