This video will teach you how to fight with melee weapons in “DayZ”. First, choose the right weapon. Weapons with a longer reach like the axe, sledgehammer, pickaxe, and hoe not only have a better range but also deal more damage than the other melee weapons. Aim your reticule above the head (you want to aim higher than your target) and step from side to side to dodge attacks and deal the most damage.
