DayZ Mod - The way of the sniper (also, machine guns)
11Having wandered alongside the northern edge of the map for the last couple of hours and after finding 2 well stocked tent camps (which I promptly raided), I am now in possession of some really cool weapons (SVD CAMO and Mk 48 Mod 0), a Ghillie Suit, NVGs and another Mountain Dew. I had a Coyote Backpack, but lost it due to some glitch when putting on the Ghillie Suit.
I did some research on how to use the optical rangefinder system on the SVD, and decided to try it out on a few zombies and one unsuspecting goat. The Mk 48 bit at the end, is a bonus: everyone loves machine guns.
NOTE: I died after my last video, while raiding the NE airstrip. I wanted to try out the NVGs and the night was pitch black. It was a really lame death though, some guy hiding in one of the hangars shot me; must have been a blast waiting hours in the dark for one of the 7 players on the server to come by...
