Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Deffinition aka the guy that always sticks to his guns when it comes to fake leaks and we have a lot to talk about this episode.
So you may have seen some DC Fandome leaks circulating online in regards to the upcoming event. These apparently detailed the ins and outs of the entire convention and they quickly picked up a lot of attention because what they had in them.
Throughout this video we're gonna be breaking down what the leaks said and then what James Gunn publicly posted on twitter in regards to them.

With that out the way, thank you for clicking this, not let's get into our breakdown of the Fake DC Fandome Leaks.
So you would think that that would be the end of it with it pretty much it shutting down the rumour but the person who posted it then followed up by asking which part.
Now as my home slice Johnny MP said, it doesn't matter it's from an unreliable source and therefore we can take this as being completely made up and untrue.
Gunn did clarify that it seemed like someone was pretty much making educated guesses but on the whole most of the things on it were made up.
From this we can take that it's more the outlandish claims that made the list rather than the ones such as trailers and footage which we know are there.
Now, over the last week I've had a lot of backlash over saying that I don't think Ben Affleck will be coming back to the DCEU as I'm the only one reporting on it and because of this people have unsubscribed to me, thumbsed down the video and said that I'm being too negative and that contracts have been signed.
It kinda sucks because I've always tried to be as credible as possible here and whenever I've posted fake leaks I've always came out and said on the next video that they were wrong which is something that I did on my michael keaton announcement video after discussing a fake script I've been sent.
The reason I always call out clickbait is because it makes my job ten times harder due to the amount of people that don't. There is a large number of websites and youtubers that instantly take things they read on the internet as fact and even if they know they're untrue they still report them as if they are because they know they will get clicks.
This story is a prime example of that. We had a poster admitting that they were a teenager in India but because they said they had a legitimate source people believed it straight away without first questioning why a kid in india would have inside knowledge to one of the most secure and high profile events in DC history.
This is why I always call out clickbait when I see it and admit if the leaks I report on are wrong. The fact there’s so many youtubers and websites out their making stuff up for views makes my job more difficult because there is so much distrust when a group of people are happy to spread lies because it will get them more views and revenue.
