DC Multiverse - Robin - (Tim Drake Red Suit Variant) McFarlane Action Figure Review
12Hey guys taking a look at another DC Multiverse McFarlane figure! This time the Gold Label Amazon Exclusive Tim Drake Robin, in the red suit variant color.
By far my favorite McFarlane Tim drake figure released so far, the iconic red and black colors are the exact thing i have in mind when i picture robin, and this figure pulls it off very well. With a ton of small details in the suit, and McFarlane style articulation just works really well with Superhero type figures that can get all of the range of motion thanks to their design.
With a staff and batarang, we get some nice accessories to work with in posing, working nicely with the articulation.
One thing to note, is that this is a variant figure, while the original figure has not released yet at the time of this review, we can see from the shoulders of the figure, where its sculpted to have short sleeves and bare arms, details seen on the original Tim Drake Robin outfit, with the green sleeves and legs.
Why McFarlane didn't release the original and this variant at the same time is a mystery, but I don't mind the shoulders too much, especially when this is sold as a variant.
Definitely a wonderful figure to pose and look at, the Tim Drake Gold Label variant is definitely one you'll want to pick up, especially in these colors.
