DCS F-14 by Heatblur is a complete simulation of the F-14 and all its systems. Out of all the standalone modules released by DCS, I am most impressed with the detail put in to the F-14 Tomcat. Also, for the first time, DCS has simulated a two-seater fighter aircraft. There is a fully functional "Jester" and "Iceman" AI which takes over the rear and front seat, respectively, when the player is occupying the other seat. Jester is also fully voiced, and it is funny/exciting/entertaining to hear his commentary throughout the mission. This reminds me a lot of Jane's F-15, and I hope an F-15E module gets released with the same quality. Additionally, Heatblur released an entire soundtrack for this module by Meteor, and I have been listening to it almost non-stop. It captures the perfect 80s feel.
This is a user mission I downloaded called Operation Eclipse. It takes place in the Persian Gulf in 1997, and is originally for the F-18. However, there is now a version for the F-14. We are tasked with flying low into Iran and bombing a nuclear facility. This mission includes voice acting, which I was impressed with. I would like to see this turned into a full campaign someday.
I also gave the cockpit tape player a try. The F-14 soundtrack goes really well with this plane!
