このレッスンでは、イーグルのビジュアル・ランディングについて説明します。目的地であるトビリシ・ロチニ国際空港への直行便で飛行を開始します。トビリシ・ロチニ国際空港はヴァジアニ基地の北西3マイルのところにあります。

目視による着陸は、コンセプトとしては簡単です。
1.1. 250ノット以下に減速し、ギアとフラップを下げる。
2.2. AOA（迎え角）が約20になったら、スティックを使って20～22の間に保ち、スロットルを使って高度をコントロールする。
3.3. 滑走路が地平線から3度下がったところで、スロットルを調整して速度ベクトルを滑走路の始点付近に置き、3度のグライドパスに沿って滑走路に向かうようにする。
4.4. タッチダウンまであと数秒のところでフレアをかけ（速度ベクトルが地平線のすぐ下に来るまでスティックを引き上げ、約半度）、スロットルをアイドルにする。
5.5. タッチダウンしたら、13度のピッチ姿勢に戻してエアロブレーキをかける。
6.6. 100ノット以下に減速したら、機首を下げてホイールブレーキをかけて停止する。

In this lesson, we'll go over a visual landing the Eagle. We will start in the air on a direct path to our destination, Tbilisi-Lochini International Airport, which is located three miles northwest of Vaziani Airbase.

A visual landing is simple in concept:
1. Decelerate to under 250 knots, and then lower your gear and flaps.
2. When your AOA (angle of attack) reaches about 20, use your stick to hold it between 20-22, and use your throttle to control your altitude.
3. When the runway is 3 degrees below the horizon, adjust the throttle to place the velocity vector near the beginning of the runway, so that you follow a 3 degree glide path to the runway.
4. When you're seconds from touchdown, flare (pull up on the stick until the velocity vector is just below the horizon - about half a degree), and pull the throttle to idle.
5. When you touch down, pull back to a 13 degree pitch attitude for aerobraking.
6. When you slow below 100 knots, lower the nose and apply wheel brakes to come to a stop.
