Played on a PvEP server in DCS flying the JF-17 Thunder. I seemed to have many false self-transcendence in it that it was weird. One of which I transcended the enemy wanted to attack Gudauta airbase. I think it was their Apache, but nothing... The JF-17 is a decent aircraft if they can iron out the kinks namely its premature airframe aging/degradation (cracking) and buggy avionics.
I had found some weird players in DCS then who were certain to be playing on a crowded PvP server while having an aircraft parked on the ramp on another PvE server which I was on. So, I was transcending their PvP gameplay on a PvE server. There were quite a few back then. NO IDEA why they were doing this.
The airframe design was an improved Western (American) design. It got delayed for so long that by now, the airframe no longer can be seen as the most optimized. I read the RCS is large for the JF-17. China has still a long way to go before it can churn out a fighter aircraft that looks right. The JF-17 doesn't look bad, but if you make the comparison with the F-16, the latter wins by appearance alone.
