DCS World VR | Updated System Test - Flying High on FPS or Stalling?
DCS World is very CPU dependent as a simulator and in VR even more so, to the point that with my previous Motherboard, CPU (i7 5820k) and RAM was not making the cut with mot modules for DCS even with the beastly performance of an RTX 2080ti I would struggle to maintain 45fps in some cases! How will my system cope now that I’m using a Z390 Aorus Master with a i7 9700k and 32GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16, let's find out with the F-15C that was unplayable with my previous build?
An update to DCS World is on the horizon that is said to up the VR performance by a massive 50% is said to be on the way soon, so lets do this now to set a mark before the update lands so we’ll have something to measure by.
