実はBlitz Strike(走ってビューンて行くファイターのスキル)だけでも言われたことを覚えて付けておけばよかったと思った。
カマイタチの戦士版だけど日本語の技名て印象薄くて覚えにくいのでブリッツストライクで馴染んでるんだけど初期から使える指輪ももってるやつ。あれでハイドラの頭が突入してきたら斬るってのが一番有効だなと理解した。ワテはあれつかうと楽すぎなので普段使用禁止にしてるんだけど(円月斬りも禁止項目なので使わない)仕方なくトコトコ走っていって蜂さんブンブンしてましたがそれでも一発で毎回首を切り落とせるのは大きいなと思った。
後は飲み込まれるタイミングも師匠は書いてくれてるのでもう一回読んで今度こそアークハイドラをファイターらしく屠りたいと思っとる。
昨日実況でノーマルモードのアークハイドラをお気楽よじ登りでファイターが殺してるのを見てこれやっちゃうからうまくならなんだろうなと感じた。
The hydra is one of my most commonly faced foes, including the archydra.
Patience is quite literally the key as well as being completely aware of all of the heads. The best opportunity to strike is when the archydra's head nose dives, then use a combination of Blitz Strike and Full Moon Slash for decent damage on the head.
When the hydra leans a head back while its mouth is open, it'll either aim to eat you or spit poison, depending on the position of the head (leaned back farther at a lower position means it'll aim to eat, while slowly opening its mouth while tucking its head means it'll spit poison). The archydra's poison causes blindness as well, so it's best to avoid, and the risk of being eaten is high with this guy, so once it tucks its head is best to retreat or ready a dodge.
Once a head hisses and raises its head its when it's readying a dive. The dive has two different forms. Targeting you and or a pawn or using all for heads to slam in a set pattern, both of which are very telegraphed. You can shield the impact of the head, but it will guard break you, leaving you open to another head crush, or being hit with something else, to it's best to remain vigilante when a head (or more) rises.
I would really avoid climbing the head unless you're aiming to save a swallowed pawn, though. The head your climbing will aim to slam you into the ground and deal massive damage doing so. That, and you'll be a top target for being eaten, which is very difficult to avoid since your movement is limited (unless you have certain equipment that increases movement speed while clinging to a foe).
If you have anything fire, use it when you decapitate a head. It'll slow down the regrowth process of the hydra head that was chopped off, and if you successfully cut all four heads, the hydra will be "stunned" and take massive damage from all attacks.
Essentially, watch the heads, strike a head that attempted a nose dive, avoid climbing if you need to, but always keep your guard up, especially when a head attempts to eat you. I usually let my pawn attempt to solo hydras and she does fairly well against them (she doesn't always win, but she puts up quite a fight).
