Decided to make a compilation of short clips from assorted videos over the years to show my progression as a freehand glowsticker, from all the way back in 2007 when I started up until now.
Some milestones:
July 2007 - The first video I recorded. I was of course super awkward with my movement, but everyone has to start somewhere.
December 2007 - My first filmed clip using "ultra" hi-intensity glowsticks. At this time I was still doing videos where I would mostly wear all white so that the colored glow would show on my clothing for traces.
July 2009 - I think this was a real breakthrough period for me, as this video and the next few were really good and had some really neat things going on. Tosses were more interesting, general movement was more interesting...just everything started to click and really look cool.
April 2011 - Rare footage of me actually performing for an audience!
November 2015 - This marks the start of the period where I would dance to non-EDM songs and actually start to put distinctive musicality into my dance.
June 2018 - You can see that I'm now putting a lot more body movement into my dancing -- that has continued to remain a focus of mine.
November 2018 - This is another breakthrough for me I think, where I started to really get into the feel of songs and match the energy of my dancing to the beat. You can start to see a marked difference in my movement style starting at this point.
