Dead Island: Riptide is a Sandbox Survival game and a direct sequel to Dead Island that takes place on another Tropical Island, similar to that of Banoi from the original game. After escaping Banoi in a helicopter, the four survivors (Sam B, Xian Mei, Logan Carter and Purna) land on a military aircraft carrier where they are subjected to experiments and thrown into the brig, awakening to find a fifth "survivor" that's immune to the plague, known as John Morgan. The intercom turns on, growls and grunts can be heard, the ship's crew have been infected.. Can you survive the plague a second time?
Having enjoyed the original game, myself and Teckiies pre-ordered this and give it a go, and while it has its (many) issues, it's still a fairly fun game.
