~WE ARE BACK! Back in the studio, back on a Giga PC, and back to making content without restrictions! DEAD SPACE REMAKE 2023 | PART 18 | CH.7 INTO THE VOID PT.2 | is the FIRST episode after returning home after working remotely for 30 days. The previous episode, PART 17, was played, captured, and rendered on the remote PC. I was extremely grateful to have a PC capable of creating content while away on a workcation, but after a few weeks, it was getting difficult to create content. The Ryzen 9 5900x (12 core), Nvidia RTX 3060ti, DDR4 3600hz 32 GB Ram, and M.2 PCIe Gen4 Gigabyte Aorus were put through their paces.
PART 18 is the first episode after returning home on a Ryzen 9 7950x (16 core), Nvidia RTX4090, DDR5 6000hz 32 GB Ram, and M.2 PCIe Gen5, 1300w PSU. I only mention it because you can compare and contrast gameplay on two systems back-to-back. Enjoy!

OMG! So good to be back where it all began! Dead Space kicked off my love for Sci-fi Horror and Story Based gaming. A great story told in mind-explosion cinematic graphics. Dead Space kicked that all off for me and never looked back! 2008 I melted many XBOX 360 playing through the Dead Space Trilogy (Red Ring) TRU! I'm pumped to be kicking off Dead Space this time around. I get to share it with ya guys on YouTube! Talk about a full circle! STORY:
Set in the 26th century, the story follows engineer Isaac Clarke, a crewman on a repair vessel assigned to the USG Ishimura, a massive planetary mining ship that has gone silent. While investigating a distress call sent by the ship's medical officer and Isaac's girlfriend, Nicole Brennan, the crew is attacked by mutated human corpses. Isaac is forced to fend for himself as he tries to save his surviving crewmates and learn the truth behind the loss of Ishimura.

The original Dead Space was noted for its audio design, and the team is intended to stay true to the authentic atmosphere while improving and modifying where necessary. The original musical score by Jason Graves was retained, with new musical elements and cues composed by Trevor Gureckis. Gunner Wright will be reprising his role as Isaac Clarke, who will be fully voiced, like his appearances in Dead Space 2 and 3. Tanya Clarke is also reprising her role as Nicole Brennan from Dead Space 2. The other cast members include Anthony Alabi as Zach Hammond, Brigitte Kali Canales as Kendra Daniels, and Faran Tahir as Challus Mercer.
