Unity was one of the most prominent and reliable game engines throughout history since the 2000s. Ever since ex-EA CEO John Riccitiello took over, Unity grace has slowly but surely plummeted, from nerfing or removing features, to an outrageous change in subscription service, to finally charging game developers an installation runtime fee for their products.
