Death Stranding is an action game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. This is director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions first game after leaving Konami in 2015.
Death Stranding is set in the United States after a cataclysmic event caused beached things (BT’s) to roam and destroy the Earth. Players control main character Sam Porter Bridges, as he journeys from the East coast to the West coast while delivering cargo and supplies to isolated cities known as Knots along the way and reconnecting them to the wireless communications Chiral network.
Death Stranding released on November 8, 2019, exclusively for PlayStation 4 but later released for PC on July 14, 2020. A director's cut version of the game released for PlayStation 5 on September 24, 2021, and later on Apple iOS, iPadOS and macOS on January 30, 2024, and then Amazon Luna and Xbox Series X/S on November 7, 2024.
