Here it is! A video I've been waiting to make for such a long time. Ever since it got announced, this was the first video I wanted to make for Deathloop. I've got plenty of other ideas for smaller videos and longer ones like this. Different slab setups, no slabs etc but I wanted to make the ideal run for a traditional run at Deathloop and then work on no slab runs etc. As might become clear, I fucking adore Deathloop. Like everything about it speaks to me on a level I haven't experienced in so many years. It's honestly one of my favourite games ever made and might even be up there with AC1 for me. Thank you to everyone who made this game!

So the video, this is a single segment video, yes I wanted to make this whole thing one run because I hate my sanity. Mission 4 is a little sloppy in places as such but I think overall this is one of my favourite videos I've made. For the whole run, HUD is deactivated besides the detection meter. I wanted it so it never reached any investigation stage, which you would hear an alert for, it would also be a full white marker for the start of it, which I never get in this. Also means no distraction shots or doors left open etc. No kills other than the targets and yeah single segment. Also for some reason the reprise HUD element would come back on for mission 4 every now and then, so that's why I pause the game at the start, as pausing resets it to off again.

Mission 1 sadly has a lot of waiting for Harriet to move but it's the best way to do it without killing anyone else that I could find.

Mission 2 is a nightmare to get right, firstly the RNG of guards in the area with Egor's machine takes a lot of playing around with. The placement of the nullifier is specific so I can remain in Aether while entering the code, which for this save file, isn't ideal to do quickly.

Mission 3 is the easiest mission for the most part. Only major sticking point is the guard I wait for on my way out, who can be looking your way as you go towards the bunker and way out.

Mission 4 was a fun one to route. Lots of little details that make it such a pleasure to explore and figure out. Watching the fireworks for Frank isn't necessary but I have to wait for Egor to be pushed down anyways and it's a cool little breather. Shooting the panel after a little wait is helpful to move guards away from Wenjie, making the kill easier. Depending on RNG Aether isn't needed but I did it for safety and bad RNG on this run. Taking the route I did for the infiltration helps start the guards conversation down in the backroom. So they've moved around by the time I reach that area. Turning off the chocolate beer (sounds vile) moves Aleksis into a secluded area. It's possible to kill him without Aether but for my sanity, I went with the safe option.
