Deathstar (BBC Micro) vs Sinistar (Atari, Arcade) compare
Sinistar for Atari 8-bit, Atari 2600 and Arcade machines and Deathstar for BBC Micro/Acorn Electron
Thanks to OldB0y for giving me some clues about these games! Now I know that Williams Electronics made this game for arcade machines in 1982. Later, in 1984 Atari tried to convert it for Atari 2600 and Atari 8-bit computers but they didn't finish it and they left it as a prototype.
Later a man named Peter Johnson made this game for Atarisoft for BBC Micro computers but they didn't release it because they were leaving the BBC Micro market. So Peter took this game and went to Superior Software. They renamed it to Deathstar and released it.
Now you can see all 4 versions here. Enjoy!
I'm not too good player in this game so I was the best in arcade version and rather bad in others.
