Argh. Another game that I wanted to like, but it falls flat. Bugs and glitches abound.
It's a shame, the "souls-like" characteristics of its combat and the fact I hadn't played a Souls game before makes this seem like an enticing prospect. The graphics on lowest at least look quite solid, and the soundtrack in the menus is great, but it weirdly becomes non-existent in the game itself. Combat unfortunately could be better and doesn't feel satisfying, especially with enemy targeting - but the bugs ultimately ruined my experience at various points.
It's not the lack of hand-holding that';s the problem here - it's the tech issues.
