12honestly, i used to hate deep blues theme. it felt short, boring, and uninteresting. but after learning all the theory and chord-crafting did that danny did to make this song, i fell in love with it. theres so much going on in this song compared to other crypt songs, and its only 40 seconds long!!
overall, i didn't inspire from any particular version. i tried to articulate the swing rhythms and make it dang easy to dance to. i laid back the melody, upped the backgrounds, and let it sort of relax and let the groove take over. which i think is the best way to listen to the song!
shoutouts to danny baranowsky for this games soundtrack. i love him for it.
