Brown noise mixed with gentle rain are my two favorite background noises that help me the most with my mild tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and allow my mind "turn off" to fall asleep quickly. I hope you enjoy it. There are no ads during the eight hour long video.

I've lived in and traveled to a lot of rainy places including South Florida, Hawaii, New Zealand and Buenos Aires Argentina. I've been recording a wide variety of videos for YouTube since 2006. The brown noise audio tracks were generated with Adobe Audition. I layer all of the rain and brown noise audio tracks together in Adobe Premiere using the Voukoder plugin to speed up the encoding process with my Nvidia graphics card. The layered brown noise and rain sounds create a very smooth and consistent audio experience.
