Deep Deep Deep Nightmare | A Nightmarish Shooter

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out a new action shooter called Deep Deep Deep Nightmare. This game developed by Nato Games, and is published by QUByte Interactive, who also released several excellent Indie Titles ive previously reviewed including 99 Vidas, Undergrave and Joshs Journey: Darkness Totems
Deep Deep Deep Nightmare is a classic isometric bullet hell shooter, taking inspiration from titles like The Binding Of Isaac and Enter The Gungeon, following the story of a young boy trapped in a dream following some bad decisions. In order to awake from the dream he will need to fight his way through 30 levels, defeating an army of monsters and evading deadly traps, whilst collecting an arsenal of weapons and magical spells. Your ultimate goal is to confronting his nightmares, which come in the form of gigantic bosses.
While the game is an enjoyable experience and will appeal to fans of bullet hell shooters, it does have some issues. The game has a lack of variety in the levels, the selection of weapons is a little narrow and the game length feels too short, with players able to complete the entire game and collect all of the upgrades and items in a little over a few hours. If your interested in a bullet hell shooter then Deep Deep Deep Nightmare may be what your looking for, but my recommendation is to wait until the game is on sale
