Mistery | Lovecraftian Sci Fi Survival

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.
In this episode I check out a new Survival Game called Mistery. This game is the breakout title by small developer Game Frontier, and is published by Gamersky Publishing, who released several excellent Indie Games ive previously reviewed including Return From Core, Anthology Of Fear and Hellslave. Mistery is a mix of Survival Game and Online RPG, taking inspiration from popular horror series like The SCP Foundation and the works of HP Lovecraft. The Player Controls an member of a group of survivors taking part in a desperate campaign to close a Dimensional Breach which has resulted in otherworldly entities infesting earth.
In order to close the breach youll need to complete a series of missions, ranging from hunting down gigantic cryptids, deploying containment technology to prevent further outbreaks of entities or simply escaping from an infested zone with your life. However the monsters are not the only threat, human like entities called Alternates have infiltrated humanity, hiding amongst the survivors in order to thwart their resistance. Watch your back....
While Mistery has a unique and interesting concept, the execution has one glaring issue. Currently there are no players online. The game is designed to be completed by groups of survivors so this makes the game unplayable in its current state. It is for this reason i cannot recommend the game at this point in time. My suggestion to the developers would be to tailor the game experience in order to cater for smaller groups of players or for solo play. I will advised of any updates i hear from the developer and will revisit the game if there are any changes to the game experience.

A Containment Breach has occurred around the site, bringing a heavy mist. Behind it, monsters are stirring. Among the people, betrayal is spreading.
Welcome to MISTERY, a multiplayer game about cooperating, crafting, surviving, and escaping. Or, it is more about pretending, deceiving, sabotaging, and murdering!
Improved upon features in similar games like Dread Hunger and Project Winter, MISTERY offers enhanced gameplay, storytelling, and friendship-destroying experiences.
Up to 9 players cooperate and explore the crumbling site. During the day, scavenge resources, craft weapons, and retrieve batteries. At night, use batteries to charge the lamp, and survive the long dark by employing items and skills to repel waves of monsters.
Beware, someone among the survivors has been contaminated into beasts wearing human skin. Or worse: they are the anomalies imprisoned in the site, eager to rip reality apart! Don't expose your back to anyone. If you notice someone behaving weirdly, let your allies know immediately - if there's anyone left to trust!
Play 10+ unique heroes as you want. Each of them has the potential to change the game - Gunner uses his heavy fire, Engineer finds batteries quickly, Doctor heals others, Spy hides in the darkness...
Despite the site being on the brink of collapse, some facilities are still functional. Watch others through the monitor, recover resources from locked safeboxes, or trigger electric traps to catch unarmed victims!
Arm yourself! Hoard bullets, medicines, and enhancers. Craft powerful weapons, get unique equipment from airdrop boxes, and unlock mutation powers! Use your wits and reflexes in the deadliest fights to carve a bloody path out of chaos!
By introducing a lot of random encounter events, the game builds an environmental storytelling mechanism of new-weird tales. Check them to uncover the true secrets behind Mistery. In the future, new stories will be released with new mechanics, anomalies, characters, maps, and more.
