I wanted to create this video with a simple technique as people write to me and ask me what technique they can do as they start out on their fluid art journey. This one is about layering paints in a cup, flipping the cup over and then stretching out the design to something you are happy with. I've designed this with some of my left-over paints to minimize any paint wastage.

▶ Technique: Flip Cup

▶ Canvas size: 18 x14 inch

▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a pouring medium using Floetrol/Owatrol (1:3 Paint: Pouring Medium) with just a dash of water to make it slightly more fluid. I have also added one drop of silicone into each color.

▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Buff Titanium, Kings Blue, Permanent Light Violet, Lamp Black
Pebeo: Iridescent copper

▶ Hair dryer: Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting
