Another quality card battler is on horizon for release and I got an opportunity to be one of the first ones to share my preview showcase with gameplay analysis and direct feedback for developers.
If you are familiar with card battler games and roguelites, Deepest Chamber shouldn't give you any issues of understanding how things work.

While the game at first look doesn't offer too many unique elements and differences compared to genre's giants like Slay The Spire, in reality Deepest Chamber already has layers upon layers of keywords, various triggers and different approach to passives/status conditions to make you start theorycrafting again, even if you are expert in this genre. Please be advised, Deepest Chamber is work in progress so expect to see different concepts or game mechanics later on (I am talking to you Chrono rooms KEKW).

Story and lore is obviously not fully available yet but we can already see the potential in art, presentation, music, animations etc which are all very solid. Except maybe UI elements, but it's going to be changed for sure. And the devs made a deal with Northernlion as their exclusive showcase reveal so it should give you the clue about their scope and budget.

All in all, alongside Roguebook, which is coming this Summer, I am excited to see where Deepest Chamber will go.
