Defense Legend 3 Future War is a challenging TD game that puts you in the throes of combat, taking on the life of the sole pilot capable of preventing the human race from being permanently subjugated under the domain of a uber-violent alien race.

In Defense Legend 3 Future War, gameplay is very similar to any other tower defense game. Essentially, action takes place in two parts: intially, it's more focused on strategic management, where it's up to you to invest the scarce monetary resources you're entrusted with at the start of the first level. That'll mean you manage to build units capable of blocking the passage of the incessant hordes of enemies. In the second part -- it's also the most challenging -- you'll have to redirect funds earned with each death to improve these units to get them to inflict as much damage as possible. If any of the enemy soldiers manage to exceed the level limits, it's game over and back to start.

Defense Legend 3 Future War provides a wide array of turret types -- each with a distinct offensive effect on the enemy troops. This throws in a touch of strategic gameplay into the mix, adding some much needed depth.

One of the most interesting features in Defense Legend 3 Future War, and the main difference between it and similar titles, is that even though the turrets and allied units are completely static, you control your hero freely, as well as the most powerful special unit on the map. Its positioning will increase the attack characteristics of nearby allies along with the power to readjust if any situation on the map beginning to look like a more dangerous situation.
