Defunct - Time Trial Glitch Guide For That One Guy On PSNProfiles
1A quick guide for some guy on PSNProfiles that needed help with beating Oasis, Rock Bottom, Crash Site, and Archipelago using the time trial glitch.
To abuse the exploit:
1. Press the PS-button to the home screen.
2. Go back into the game and press restart. If you did it right, the timer won’t start.
As long as you don’t press X or O, the timer won’t start. Note that you need to start the timer before finishing the level, otherwise your time will be 0:00:00, and it won’t register. I chose not to do this in my video for the levels that could be fully completed without ever starting the timer as to not further ruin the speedrunning leaderboards.
Also, the reason I started the timer on top of the hill in Rock Bottom was because starting the timer makes you lose virtually all of your momentum, causing you to fail the jump from the ramp, and wasting precious time.
