Dell Vs Alienware - Forza Horizon 4 - Autumn (D2719HGF)(AW2720HF)(TN Vs IPS)(Vs Series)

*This Alienware has slight IPS glow top left corner but has awesome panel uniformity. No banding or artifacts/defects. Almost perfect!! Clearly you can see why the Alienware is premium and a higher price. Well worth it!

***Sometimes the Dell looks to have higher black levels but it's due to the TN panel not able to show as many colors as the IPS also the panel type. Same settings on both. The Dell in person looks a bit grayer/duller. The Dell has a nice pop but looks fake compared to a realistic Alienware look. I'll go more in detail soon...

**The Dell has bad screen uniformity compared to the perfect IPS from Alienware. You can see with panning shots. But panel variance will vary per panel lottery/monitor.

*This is to show the thats the D2719HGF budget monitor can compete with the New Alienware AW2720HF. Truth hurts... It looks better on the Alienware monitor in everything for sure tho...

Settings on both Monitors in the Nvidia Control Panel are:
+47 Brightness (+50 default)
+53 Contrast (+50 default)
+52 Digital Vibrance (+50 default)

Monitors:
100 Brightness on both.
84 Contrast - Dell (of 400nits)
90 Contrast - Alienware (of 350nits)

Just to keep both even. Also contrast has been reduced a bit on the monitors to remove brightness clipping especially on the Dell. Dell clips at high brightness (Contrast 86+) while Alienware does a small bit (Contrast 94+). more or less. Tried on Forzas sky. Just trying to keep everything even.

**I'm not going for calibrated display I'm showing what I like... Vibrancy and Pop!!!

Hi friends Welcome to Viktors Reality:
today we have Forza Horizon 4 on the Autumn setting on the new Alienware and Dell in the Vs series. As you can see the Alienware is better overall in the Color dept! Especially with its IPS tech. It has a much punchier picture. The Alienware and their IPS tech has no problem beating the Dell's TN display tech in the color dept. It's like TN speed with super VA colors. Because I basically say IPS from Aorus to me is the benchmark. Pls what Im saying is what I have and what I play and see everyday. Soon I'll have a VA monitor video to compare as I am currently testing it.

I love my Dell and it's my go to, no fail monitor for over a year now. I will continue to use on a daily basis. It's the Best budget monitor out there. It's about 70-80% the monitor Alienware is.

For the Dell... All you got to do is adjust the settings in the Nvidia control panel and you can come very close!! For way less..
