Dell has completely reinvented the XPS 13 2-in-1 from a convertible laptop to a tablet with an XPS Folio plug-in keyboard.
The keyboard is reminiscent of a plug-in accessory for the iPad and can be fixed in three positions: 100°, 112.5° and 125°. The tablet also supports stylus input, it can be recharged via a magnetic pad. Both accessories are sold separately. New - the first Dell XPS device to offer 5G connectivity with eSIM.
The display is DisplayHDR 400 certified, and the Thunderbolt ports are DisplayPort and Power Delivery compatible. The kit includes adapters for USB-A and audio jack. Sales will start in the summer, the cost is not specified. Dell also updated the classic XPS 13 laptop.
The company's engineers redesigned the insides, reducing the size of the motherboard by 1.8 times. This made it possible to lighten the case and insert more powerful speakers. Now the laptop weighs 1.17 kg instead of 1.2 kg with a thickness of 13.99 mm instead of 14.8 mm. We also updated the Intel Core i5 / i7 processors to the 12th generation.
