It Consumes is an adrenaline-pumping mix of Vampire Survivors and Devil Daggers, but with a unique twist: To see your surroundings, you must use your heart rate. For only a brief moment, your heartbeat reveals what surrounds you in the deep darkness. You must fight tactically, planning your shots and movements in the dark, and then acting with lightning speed when the light flashes.
Every run is unique. You continually build your demon-slaying machine by unlocking dozens of weapons, abilities, and perks, combining them to create your perfect playstyle. For hardcore challenges, the game offers an extensive modifier system and unique Challenge Runs that bend the rules (e.g., "You can only move by dodging"). With the Custom Games mode, you can even customize all stats and completely shape the game to your likingβor completely destroy it.
